NON-DEGREE APPLICATION

Who is this application for? Non-degree students are not currently enrolled at a college and wish to take classes at QCC without pursuing a degree.

Non-Degree Application Requirements:   

Students who have not attended college previously must submit the following:   

  • Copy of a high school transcript and diploma; or copy of GED/TASC Diploma with score sheet.     

Students who previously enrolled at another college/university must submit the following: 

  • In addition to submitting copies of transcripts from each college/university previously attended, students who have not successfully completed a college level English or math course, must submit a copy of high school transcript and diploma; or copy of GED/TAS Diploma with score sheet

Students with transcripts from outside of the United States will need to obtain a translation of their documents and may have to obtain a course-by-course evaluation of their high school and university documents. Interested applicants should consult with the Office of Admissions for further guidance.  

Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of $65 is required to process this application. To assist students with their applications, our office will process your application and add the $65 to your account. In short, you do not need to submit the $65 in person or by mail.

Proof of Immunization: New York State Public Health Law 2165 requires post-secondary students to show protection against Meningitis. Persons born before January 1, 1957 are exempt from the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) requirements. Persons born on or after January 1, 1957 are required to present proof of immunity against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR). Submit forms to the Office of Health Services prior to registration.
