Readmission Application

Who is this application for? If you were previously a student at QCC, whether in degree or non-degree status, and have not attended the College for one or more semesters (fall or spring), you'll need to submit an application for readmission. If you were previously academically dismissed from the College you must complete the Readmission Application for Dismissed Students.

Application Instructions:

  • Please make sure to electronically sign the application at the bottom of this page.
  • Update all information and make sure to provided your current contact information. We will use the email your provide on the application to inform you of the status of your application.
  • If you have attended another college while away from QCC you must list all colleges on the application and send official transcripts to the Office of Admissions. We suggest you work with your previous institution to have electronic transcripts sent to admissions@qcc.cuny.edu
  • Fee: The readmit fee is waived for all QCC returning students.  Students will see a $20 charge on their CUNY First account, but the college will waive this fee by the time the semester begins. 

Other tips to complete your application:

  • Students who wish to apply to the Nursing Program must complete the Pre-Nursing Sequence and achieve a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Since clinical courses are limited, students accepted into the curriculum may have to wait two semesters before being placed in a clinical course.
  • WU grades can be appealed through the Committee on Course and Standing.
  • Please Note: If you were previously dismissed, you must fill out our “Returning Student Application for Dismissed Students”.

Once the application is received by The Office of Admissions please  allow 3-5 business days for processing. Once your application is processed you will be contacted, via email, with information to register.
